How to set up Tivimate for Smart TV?

TiViMate is one of the most popular IPTV players and can be used in conjunction with IPTV services that provide M3U Url to watch live TV channels from IPTV providers.

Most IPTV services (incuding all our own) are compatible with a variety of devices, such as FireStick, Android TV, iPhone, Android phones, NVIDIA Shield, and Fire TV Cube.

In this tutorial guide, we’ll use the Android TV installation process as an example to discuss how to install and use Tivimate on smart TV. Will be of some help to you.

What is TiViMate?

TiViMate is not to be confused with IPTV providers. TiViMate is an IPTV player that allows you to pair third-party IPTV services with M3U links, Xtream code, and you can’t simply download TiViMate and watch TV channels or movies on compatible devices. Because TiViMate doesn’t offer any TV sources. You need to add the IPTV provider’s playlist to watch live TV channels.

How to install TiViMate on Android TV?

Option 1. - Easy way

Go to your TV-s Play Store and enter phrase (word):

In Option 2., installing TiViMate on Android TV is a three-part process. First, you need to install Downloader on your device, which is a powerful browser that you can use to download any APK on the web. So, next, we’ll discuss how to download a Downloader on an Android TV device.

Part 1 – How to set up a downloader on Android TV (Samsung, LG, Hisense are NOT Android TV-s!)?

The first thing you need to make sure of is that the downloader is searchable on the Google Play Store because then it can be downloaded directly to your Android TV device. Here are the simple download steps.

Step 1: Open up your Android TV device, find the Google Play Store, and search “Downloader“.

Step 2: Click the Downloader application, then install and open the application.

Step 3: After the installation is complete, after startup, it will ask you to grant access to local storage. Since this is a file manager, it needs this permission to run. Just press Allow.

Step 4: Enter the URL in the search box below.

Step 5: Wait for the download to complete and click Install.

Step 6: Click DONE

Step 7: Delete the installation package to provide more free storage space.

Part 2 – How to enable installation from Unknown Sources?

The first thing you need to do before downloading is to enable an installation from an unknown source, follow these steps:

Scroll and go to Android TV settings > Device Preferences > Security & restrictions > unknown sources > Open the downloader from unknown sources.

Part 3 – How to Install Tivimate APK?

All you need to do next is click the browser option and download any APK application using a web browser. Follow these steps to install Tivimate APK.

Step 1: Open the Downloader application and enter the TiviMate APK URL in the search box.

Step 2: Click GO to download.

Step 3: Wait for the download to complete and install.

Step 4: Click Done and delete the installation package to provide more free storage space..

That’s it, you can now use your TiViMate application.

How to add playlists to TiViMate?

Step 1: Open TiViMate and click “Add Playlist“

Note:
If the Add Playlist button does not respond, click the Settings button next to it and go from there to the playlist and then add the playlist TiViMate.

Step 2: Click “Xtream Codes Login” and then click Next.

Step 3: In this step, you need to add the server address, username, and password, which can be found on your M3U URL.

Step 4: Wait a few minutes for the channel to be added to your device

EPG?

Most IPTV services come with a dedicated EPG (electronic program guide), as shown below.

If you don’t see an EPG enabled in the TiviMate app, consider enabling it in the app’s Settings.

As I mentioned above, the major features of TiviMate are behind a paywall. You need to pay for the premium version to enjoy TiviMate at its greatest potential.

When you try to access any premium feature without a premium account, TiviMate will ask you to upgrade to premium. For example, when you try to add a channel to your list of favorites, TiviMate will prompt you to upgrade the app. If you wish to continue with the free version, you can hit Cancel and keep using the free TiviMate app on Smart TV.

To purchase the premium version, you need to use the TiviMate Companion app from the Google Play Store.

How to use Stalker Portal login feature?

Once you click on Stalker Portal, you will see the following screen. Go ahead and click on Server Address to type in your IPTV providers: server address (or how some providers call it - Portal URL, which is usualy something like this: http://.../c).

You can then enter your Username and Password provided to you as well if it is required by your IPTV Service.

Once you enter all information correctly, click Next.

Note:
You need to give Your MAC address that you can find HERE inside TiviMate app to your IPTV provider if you wish to use Stalker Portal login!

Step 2: At the next screen, you can name the playlist whatever you want then click on Done.

You can also add EPG as well if your IPTV Service provides a URL for EPG, or Click on "Use Default Source".
