In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to bring IPTV channels to your MAG device.

Step 1: When the box is being loaded the main portal screen appears. After that click on “settings”, press the button on remote “SETUP/SET”.

Step 2: Then press on “System settings” and click on “Servers”.

Step 3: Select “Portals”.

Step 4: In the “Portal 1 name” line enter the following ” IPTV “.

In the “Portal 1 URL” enter the portal address provided by your IPTV distributor. First, you must provide your device Mac address which can be found on the back side of your box to your IPTV distributor.

Step 5: When all the operations listed above is done, then press “OK”.

Now, If needed! When the settings are being saved click “EXIT” on the remote control and press option “General”.

In the “NTP server,” line enter the following address “pool.ntp.org or us.pool.ntp.org“ for North America.

Press “OK” to save the changes you made.

When all the steps listed above are done press "EXIT” 2 times on the remote control and restart the portal.

Now everything is ready to start watching Live TV...

How to Change the Portal Address

Sometimes your IPTV provider may require you to change your portal address (Portal URL) and the steps below will guide you through the entire process of changing the portal address on your MAG box.

How to Change Portal URL

Turn off the Box by disconnecting its power cable from the Box, then pull out the cable between the Box and the router (LAN cable).

Turn on the box (Box) without a cable to the modem (router).

Wait until you see “Loading Portal” on the screen.

Press the "SET" button on the remote control.

Go to "Settings" and press "OK".

Press the "SET" button on the remote control again.

Go to "Servers" and press "OK".

Go to "Portal 1 URL" and delete ALL the text (use the "Back" button on the remote to delete).

Press the "KB" button in the upper right corner of the remote control. It's like a keyboard image.

Enter the new portal address (Portal URL).

Press the "KB" button on the remote so that the keyboard is OFF on the screen, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select "OK".

Plug in the cable (LAN cable) that goes from the box (Box) to the modem-router, then go to Reload Portal or Restart Device option in the Menu or by disconnecting the Power cable.

Idite na "Settings" i pritisnite "OK".

Ponovo pritisnite dugme "SET" na daljinskom upravljaču.

Idite na "Portal 1 URL" i izbrišite SAV tekst (za brisanje koristite dugme "Back" na daljinskom).

Pritisnite dugme "KB" u gornjem desnom uglu na daljinskom upravljaču. To je kao slika tastature.

Unesite novu adresu portala (Portal URL).

Pritisnite dugme "KB" na daljinskom upravljaču tako da se tastatura ISKLJUČI sa ekrana, idite dole na dno ekrana i izaberite "OK".

Uključite kabl (LAN kabal) oji ide od kutije (Box-a) do modema-rutera, a zatim idite na ponovno učitavanje portala (Reload Portal) ili ponovo pokrenite (Restart Device) TV Box koristeći napajanje.

How to reset STB MAG to
factory default settings?

If you encounter problems with your MAG256 such as frozen channels or abnormal slowness due to a malfunction, I strongly recommend that you follow the instructions given below:

Press and hold service button (FN) on back side of STB until STB is power off, or during 2 seconds after power on. Switching between modes done by releasing button at specific time according to LED indication.

MAG256 - Reset to default settings, boot mode change
There are 4 modes:

Mode 1. STB load from first U-boot - Press and hold service button, power on STB. Wait until LED indicator change it's mode (LED is white, slow blinking). If button button will be released STB will load in mode 1. Not releasing of button - STB will go to mode 2.

Mode 2. Switch to alternative NAND - (White LED, fast blink). If button button will be released STB will load in mode 2. Continue to hold will result in - go to mode 3.

Mode 3. Reset to default settings - (Red LED, fast blink). If button button will be released STB will load in mode 3. Continue to hold will result in - go to mode 4.

Mode 4. “Emergency-mode” - STB Boot from USB/DHCP - (Red LED, without blinking). If button button will be released STB will load in mode 4. Continue to hold will result in - Standard load.

Ako naiđete na probleme sa svojim MAG256 kao što su zamrznuti kanali ili abnormalna sporost zbog kvara, toplo preporučujem da slijedite upute date u nastavku:

Pritisnite i držite servisno dugme (FN) na zadnjoj strani STB-a dok se STB ne isključi ili 2 sekunde nakon uključivanja. Prebacivanje između režima se vrši otpuštanjem dugmeta u određeno vreme prema LED indikaciji.

MAG256 - Reset na default settings, boot mode promjena
Postoje 4 načina rada:

Režim 1. STB opterećenje od prvog U-boot-a - Pritisnite i držite servisno dugme, uključite STB. Sačekajte dok LED indikator ne promijeni svoj način rada (LED svijetli bijelo, sporo treperi). Ako se dugme otpusti, STB će se učitati u režimu 1. Ne puštajući dugme - STB će preći u režim 2.

Režim 2. Prebacite se na alternativni NAND - (bijeli LED, brzo treperi). Ako dugme bude otpušteno, STB će se učitati u režimu 2. Ako nastavite da držite, rezultiraće - idite na režim 3.

Režim 3. Resetujte na podrazumevane postavke - (crvena LED, brzo treptanje). Ako se dugme otpusti, STB će se učitati u režimu 3. Ako nastavite da držite, rezultiraće - idite na režim 4.

Režim 4. “Emergency-mode” - STB pokretanje sa USB/DHCP - (crvena LED, bez treptanja). Ako dugme bude otpušteno, STB će se učitati u režimu 4. Ako nastavite da držite, rezultiraće - Standardnim opterećenjem.

Page Loading Error
Why I see this in my MAG?

Firstly this error usually occurs as a result of the lack of Internet connection to the setup box. you need to be sure that the Ethernet cable between your STB and the router is plugged.

On the Page Loading Error Screen, it will say “Ethernet Link: UP” if all is ok or “DOWN” if the Ethernet port is not connected to the router. In addition, it would be possible that your Internet connection does not work well, so you have to check whether Internet access is available.

One other reason might be regarding Page Loading Error might be about the MAC address not being registered inside the IPTV provider's server.

How to solve this Issue

The LAN light on the router port which is connected to the back of your STB (MAG Box) has to be lit. Also, check the connection on the back of the setup box itself, there should be 2 lights on the connection itself where the cable is plugged into the setup box, one orange and the other is green.

If either the light on the router or the lights on the STB ports do not lit, there should be a connection issue and it is highly recommended to change the Ethernet cable.

If even after these changes the problem still exists, the next step is to unplug both the router and setup box power cables. After unplugging, plug back the router power cable at first and after two minutes plug in the STB power cable.

If your router places in one room and your setup box is in another room and connected to the router via the Ethernet line, please check the lights on the sockets. If this is not lighted, the power line has lost its wireless connection to the router and you will need to reboot both the router and then the power line.

Once the light is back, you have to reboot the setup box too. If the light is lit and the STB is still stuck on the loading screen, you need to make sure that the power line has the LAN light on the front.

Zašto ovo vidim na mom MAG-u?

Prvo, ova greška se obično javlja kao rezultat nedostatka internetske veze sa kutijom za podešavanje (MAG Box-om). morate biti sigurni da je Ethernet kabel između vašeg STB-a i rutera priključen.

Lampica LAN-a na portu rutera koji je povezan sa stražnjom stranom vašeg STB-a (MAG Box-a) mora biti upaljena. Također, provjerite vezu na stražnjoj strani same setup box-a, na samom priključku gdje je kabel priključen na setup box trebaju biti 2 lampice, jedna narandžasta a druga zelena.

Ako lampica na ruteru ili lampice na STB portovima ne svijetle, znači da postoji problem sa vezom i toplo se preporučuje da promijenite Ethernet kabel.

Ako i nakon ovih promjena problem i dalje postoji, sljedeći korak je da isključite kablove za napajanje rutera i MAG Box-a. Nakon isključivanja, prvo uključite kabl za napajanje rutera, a nakon dva minuta uključite u STB (MAG Box) kabl za napajanje.

Ako se vaš ruter nalazi u jednoj prostoriji, a MAG Box je u drugoj prostoriji i povezana na ruter preko Ethernet linije/kabla, molimo provjerite svjetla na obje strane kabla upaljene. Ako ovo ne svijetli, strujna linija je izgubila vezu s ruterom i morat ćete ponovo pokrenuti ruter, a zatim i strujni vod.

Kada se lampica vrati, morate ponovo pokrenuti i setup box. Ako je svjetlo upaljeno, a STB je i dalje zaglavljen na ekranu za učitavanje, morate se uvjeriti da strujna linija ima LAN svjetlo na prednjoj strani.
